About STARmeds

STARmeds (Systematic Tracking of At Risk Medicines) is a three-year research project starting from 2020 with the main objective of protecting the society from the dangers of substandard and falsified medicines by conducting several main research programs.

Protecting society from poor quality medicines is a formidable task for national medicine regulatory authorities, especially in a resource-limited setting such as in Indonesia. Although post-market surveillance is a routine activity for medicine regulators, each country has a different method in performing this task.
