Pokja Estimasi Mutu Obat (Intersectoral Consultative Group)
Pokja Estimasi Mutu Obat (PEMO) is an intersectoral consultative groups that gather high level Government Institutions periodically along three years research to support a quality surveillance on substandard and falsified medicine. PEMO members will contribute to a study that is relevant with the policy recommendation, improve the research benefit which can be implemented practically, and improve the communication among institutions to create a continuous effort to ensure Indonesian can get a full access of qualified medicine.The first PEMO meeting has been held on 14 July 2021, with the participation from Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs (KemenkoPMK), Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas), Executive Office of The President (KSP), Ministry of Health, National Agency of Drug and Food Control of Indonesia (BPOM), Badan Penyelenggaran Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan (BPJS Kesehatan), National Procurement Board (LKPP), and Regional Health Agencies. This event is to introduce what STARmeds will do and the goals.
